GLP-1 Studio Podcast
The podcast features conversations with clinicians, researchers, advocates, and patients. I host each episode and focus on questions that are useful to people taking or considering GLP-1 medication.
GLP-1 Studio
I do a few different things in the GLP-1 world, and GLP-1 Studio is the home for that work: the podcast, coaching, speaking, consulting, and patient education. Here is what belongs where.
Media
The podcast features conversations with clinicians, researchers, advocates, and patients. I host each episode and focus on questions that are useful to people taking or considering GLP-1 medication.
Coaching
GLP1Coach provides compassionate one-on-one health coaching for people taking a GLP-1 medication, considering one, or somewhere in between. The coaching is based on the STRONG Framework for Self-Advocacy.
Community
Cozy Butter is a warm online community for people on GLP-1 medications, operated by Cozy Butter LLC, an independent company co-founded by Kim Carlos of The Plus SideZ Podcast and Amanda Bonello of the GLP-1 Studio. Group coaching and weekly group sessions happen there.
Consulting
GLP-1 Studio provides consulting informed by patient advocacy, communication, and experience with the GLP-1 community. Each engagement has a written scope and is separate from personal coaching.
Speaking
I speak about patient access, compassionate care, weight stigma, and the STRONG Framework for Self-Advocacy.
Patient resource
GLP1Strong.com is a free patient website for learning the STRONG Framework and preparing for difficult conversations.
A separate entity
The GLP-1 Collective is a separate nonprofit organization I founded for patient support, education, and advocacy against stigma. It has separate finances and programs from GLP-1 Studio and GLP1Coach.
The GLP-1 Collective nonprofit is legally and financially separate. I founded both organizations, but the nonprofit is not a program of GLP-1 Studio.
These projects began in response to questions and concerns I heard from patients. I am still learning from those conversations, and I try to be clear about the purpose and boundaries of each project.
